Just walked Mr. Calvert into the booth, who I recently learned shares his birthday with this Web site. OK, well, he's older than 10 but you get the point. Pretty much everybody's here, meaning here in LA by now, since several of us have turned in for the evening. It's still quite crowded at the booth, though, considering it's past 8 at night on the weekend. We should get out of here before long and get some rest before the fur starts flying for real. First, though, here's BallGame's video recap of day two:

As you can see, we have an extremely important, serious job. Extremely serious. And really important. Really.

Stanley and Adam are here, and I've purposely assigned them seats within shouting distance of me. Much like last year, it'll come down to the three of us to effectively manage the flow of information during the next couple of days. Once the show officially starts, I'll be running around between appointments same as most of the editors, but on Monday and Tuesday, I'll help make sure we're doing the best we can around the big press conferences.

I feel like a hypocrite telling people to take it easy while I'm here typing away, getting a crick in my neck. So I'd better wrap it up. Tomorrow might be the most important day of E3 for us--not necessarily because the biggest news of the show will hit on Monday (though, who knows), but because a successful day tomorrow will give us a great morale boost to press through the remainder of the week. And morale boosts provide +2 resistance to disease, +1 walking and typing speed, and +3 to ignore fatigue.
