Preorder Disney Illusion Island For Switch Ahead Of Tomorrow's Release
Disney Illusion Island is listed for $40 and will launch exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
Disney Illusion Island arrives exclusively on Nintendo Switch tomorrow, July 28. If you haven't preordered your copy yet, you can still snag a physical edition for $40 at major retailers, including Amazon and Best Buy. The side-scroller allows up to four players to explore a colorful, family-friendly island as they try to save the quirky location from a mysterious disaster.
The charming metroidvania earned a 7/10 in our Disney Illusion Island review. "Illusion Island has a lot going for it: It looks great, controls wonderfully, is packed with charm and character, offers enjoyable exploration, and features a memorable multiplayer experience," critic Heidi Kemps wrote. "If you're a big fan of the genre, you'll get a kick seeing little references to other all-time classics, too."
If you want to tackle the action solo, you’ll be glad to know the entire game is beatable without the help of any companions. There’s also no traditional combat to be found, though you will have to overcome a variety of boss battles and platforming challenges while making use of unique skills like Rope Drop and Leap Frog.
