WWF Attitude: 15 Seconds of Play

Acclaim gives gamers an exclusive look at its upcoming bodyslammer.

Acclaim has given GameSpot News an exclusive peek at its upcoming WWF-licensed wrestling game, WWF Attitude. This peek comes in the form of a 15-second QuickTime movie, which briefly shows HHH's (Hunter Hearst Helmsley) ring entrance, complete with the D-Generation X music and crotch chop. This clip does, of course, show a work-in-progress, but it should give you a decent idea of what the game will look like when it ships.

The one thing that caught our eye in Acclaim's longer movie was the quality of the motion capture. When HHH makes his way to the top turnbuckle (around 31 seconds in), watch his arms. Instead of merely snapping back into the standard walking animation, the wrestler saunters over to the corner in a very realistic-looking way. The PlayStation version of Attitude will ship on June 3and the Nintendo 64 version will follow in July.

For the complete, 9MB, 45-second QuickTime of HHH's complete ring intro, check out Acclaim's site.
