100% fun in a boring videogame world.

How many times have you read articles, or reviews of videogames that describe each quality of the game without actually saying how fun it is? Recently, I think it happens quite a lot.

So that's why I think Asura's Wrath is a really welcome game in this often overly sophisticated or uninspired era of videogames.

Asura's Wrath is just pure fun. Period.
Simple yet powerful combat system, really well done cinematics, awesome action quick time events, interesting story, believable and sympathetic main character... and lots and lots of screaming and punching.
All that, plus visually impressive art and incredible music, make Asura's Wrath a brief yet very enjoyable adventure that will just be pure fun.

No grinding, no thinking, no wondering.

Now, don't get me wrong, I love challenging games with serious plots but I think it's great to have a game that is all about fun like this one, especially considering how well it's done.

That being said, the game is insanely over the top (example, you killing giant bigger than earth just by punching him) so, if you know you don't like that kind of crazy stuff, this may not be the game for you.

Also, many people argued about the fact that Asura's Wrath is more similar to a movie than to a game. No. It isn't.
Even the simple act of pushing a button in here will blow you away, something that wouldn't happen without a controller. Though the game has lots of qtes, that doesn't mean it's less of a game.

I loved this game, and everyone I've seen playing it had a blast as well.

Summary : if you can turn your brain off from overthinking, absolutely buy this game, for it's the most fun there's out there.
