Back To The Future: The Game (review of all 5 episodes)

If you are of a certain age you'll have fond memories of some of the films that game out towards the mid to late 1980's, and one of those has to be the Back To The Future trilogy of films.

After so many years, and given the advance of years it was a pleaseant surprise to see that Tell Tale were making a game based on this story, having played one of their previous adventure games.

There was also though, a doubt about how faithfully they could stick to the original characters, stories and settings after the advance of time.

The games play really well, and although they are not really that challenging, there are one or two puzzles which will may take you a little longer than expected to solve. To be honest this is not the type a game I would normally play or enjoy enough to want to complete all the episodes.

The game setting, story and voice acting is really good, not sure how many of the original cast are involved but the replacement voice artists they use do a great job of recreating the characters (and their alternative versions) very well, and the story manages to have the humour and right mix of plot twists and turns that were a part of the movies.

Over all while this may not be a game for everyone, it is a fun game to play and has a really good story and is certainly worth the price of the five episodes.
