A breeze of fresh air.

I am giving this game a solid 8, and here's why, after playing the 2015 Open Beta, i instantly fell in love with the game, the graphics were pretty solid, the performance was great with my R9 280x, and the netcode was perfect, no raging at all when i was getting shot at, just straight worse performance than my adversary, then what did i do? I pre-ordered it.

I was extremely anxious to play the game at launch and so i did, but then, i was greeted with FPS drops, performance issues, glitchy gameplay and overall bad netcode, in bad like, shooting a enemy, seeing him die in front of you, and then die seconds later by the guy that you actually killed... The multiplayer gamemodes are amazing, giving a emphasis on the more "tactical" gamemodes like Crosshair and Rescue, i had loads of fun playing them, but as in every toxic community, the chaotic and explosives gamemodes are the ones to take the trophy, and soon i saw Crosshair and Rescue servers completely deserted...

For the singleplayer campaign, i got a solid, story-driven, non-linear campaign, with heavy 90s copper shows influences and great nuances between tension and action. Campaign is overall pretty solid, but nothing extremely out of the box. NPCs can be pretty predictable, and flashing your bage at 3 enemies at once seems to be the best tactic to water down to, as it gives you more points and more goodies.

I do not regret buying this game, feels good to play, feels fun to play, and is definitely refreshing. Is bound to get better with updates, performance-wise, and hopefully netcode-wise. It feels for me, deserving of a Solid 8 out of 10.
