This was my first time playing Bayonetta which I heard was released on PS3, Xbox 360, PC, and Wii U, but I decided to try out the game on the Nintendo Switch. This game did not disappoint me at all. I researched a lot about this game after playing it and finding out the director of this game created the Devil May Cry series that is published by Capcom. I see some similarities from Devil May Cry series to this game but the big difference is the main character of this is a woman which I prefer playing as than a man. Since it came out on the Nintendo Switch, you had the ability to play Bayonetta in different costumes from Nintendo's iconic characters like Star Fox, Link, Peach, and Daisy. I chose the Daisy costume because she supports Luigi than Mario. The cut scenes and voice acting were great. My favorite character besides Bayonetta was Luka who I hope becomes Bayonetta's romantic partner.
The graphic and soundtrack was great. The frame rates never dipped even when multiple enemies appeared on the screen at the same time. Platinum Games did a great job porting this game. I thank Nintendo for saving the franchise. This game currently priced at 39.99 but can be free when you purchase Bayonetta 2 or discounted by 20% off if you buy Bayonetta 2 first.
