The Kain series has so much potential to evolve the storyline and graphics for the future. Don't overlook this "one". Considering the year it was released the graphics are very good. Some levels are extra cool. And, yes, the one boss is a b#$%..... almost like real life...lol.... Other than that, you have to have a strategy for your defense/offense. Some of the puzzles are hard and some are not. It also contains a few surprises. I think it's a good game to own. If you rent it you may become a bit frustrated with some of the quests and return it. The only reason I would rent a game is because I heard it was boring. This game is not boring. Therefore, if you own it you will want to take the vampire challenge. Also, my Xbox game did not have any glitches. It ran smooth. Solid vampire game and once again, love the Kain series!!!!!
