More of the same

More of the same pretty much sums the game up. Sure, you get a new elemental effect, you're on the moon, but ultimately... more of the same.

Same problems, the game thinks it's funnier than it is, shouting and quirkiness a poor replacement for wit and repetition dawning long before the final credits role.

In short busts, it's great fun. In long runs the over-streamlined gameplay with boring incremental damage increases is unsatisfying.

Shooting is good, but you move around hobbled are a very slow speed with a pointless run mechanic. The game would benefit from something like Quake or Doom where you simply move fast, as that's fun, and this isn't.

Art direction is about as good as it gets, a visually astounding series, let down by extremely poor writing that reduce characters to wacky post-boxes.

Yea, it's alright. But could be much more.
