A revolution in the Burnout series!

User Rating: 9 | Burnout Paradise PS3
+ Many cars, many challenges, the online is great, nice graphics
- Classical music

Burnout Paradise is the fifth game in the series. In Burnout Paradise you drive around a free roam city, called Paradise City. In the game you gotta complete different events like Race, Road Rage, Marked Man, and more. In Road Rage, you have to takedown other drivers to win. In a new event called Marked Man, you have to drive from one place to another, but there are cars that's trying to take you down before you get there. In Stunt Run, you do stunts to earn points. When you do events, you unlock cars.

Paradise City is pretty big. You can drive in the Downtown area, or drive around the countryside. The game has 120 events, which is very nice. There are 75 different cars in the game. Some are slow and some are fast. But here, the cars got different handling. With some cars you can loose control very easily when you drift or turn. It was not like that in Burnout 3 and Revenge. It's very annoying. You can also drive motorcycles, but there are only four different. You can also do events with them, Midnight Rides and Burning Laps. No cars in Burnout Paradise are real.

The online in Burnout Paradise is very good. You can play with up to seven other players in Paradise City. You can drive around the city, play Marked Man and Road Rage, and play 500 different Freeburn Challenges.

The Soundtrack is pretty good. The whole track list consists of about 90 songs, but only 40 of them are regular songs, the rest is classical music and some weird stuff. That sucks. I think that the soundtrack in Burnout 3 and Revenge soundtrack is a bit better. But luckily you can turn of the songs you don't like.

The graphics is great. Burnout Paradise is one of the best looking racing games ever. Not like Gran Turismo 5 but still nice.
