A great mix of first person shooters and the history of Command and Conquer.

Command and Conquer Renegade is a great mix of the first person shooter genre and the Command and Conquer background and history. The storyline has you playing as a commando from the GDI on the ground, where you get to view the Command and Conquer series like never before. Following the story on the ground brings a whole new perspective to the game, as you get to use many different weapons available, as well as many of the vehicles that players of the previous Command and Conquer games will be familiar with. You even get to call down an orbital bombardment form the Ion Cannon once it has located the beacon, and you get to experience the insides of many Nod and GDI buildings first hand. The game's online play is fun and exciting as well, allowing you to battle your enemies as one of several different characters, in many different vehicles, making sure to protect your Tiberium Harvester while destroying the enemy's to gain an advantage.
