I wish it was awesome, but it is beyond Horribad.
Pros: Nice Graphics, and exciting first 10 or 20 minutes.
Cons: Everything is clunky, there is no smooth movements in combat and everything is repetitive. I have a super powerful computer, 12 gb ram, and core i7 and gtx 295. However, everything in this game feels clunky, similar to the clunky feeling you get in primitive mmorpgs like vanguard. You cannot hear your character walk, no foot steps, not even when jumping and hitting the ground. There is no bubble overhead chat system so you do not know if someone near you is chatting, there is no mouse reticle to click on things ( and yes i am savvy with ingame options and keybinding etc. ) all of the locking of target is done automatically. Everything is chaotic in a bad way, meaning everything is disorganized with repetitive scenes, for example: Npc runs by yelling "help me ", bad guys are on every corner of the street, and repeat that a hundred times on every street corner with no variety. It just gets boring. The developers of the game are very lazy, for example, there is a river in the city, and u cannot swim in it, but guess what ? you walk on it........yep....walk on water.........heck star wars galaxies at least wasnt lazy enough to make u walk on water. Alt - tabbing breaks the game, which can be fixed by alt - enter, but if a popup comes on your desktop, u are screwed. The only thing decent about the game was the cinematic to advertise this game..... The voice acting is horrible though, supermans voice sounds like a Bus driver having a bad day.
Overall, the biggest disapointment i had in this game, is everything feels clunky, heck super mario bros for the old nintendo feels more smooth than this, and no its not my pc, i run this game at max settings and get over 30 fps...i have 12gb of ram, gtx 295 core i7 etc etc......this game is just poorly done........and seemingly made to be a quick money grabber..... the only people i can see staying on this game is ps3 users who know nothing about mmorpg's ....and may fancy the idea of being a super hero online.........even though the word super literally means, above normal....when in fact everyone is a hero, i do not know how that makes u above normal, however the only thing in this game that seems super is, its super clunky feel, and lack of intuitive ( retarded ? ) interface.....
