With Great Potential

User Rating: 4 | Destiny PS4

I start by saying I bought the game when it came out and suffered through the expansions, but refused to buy TTK. The potential was there from the beginning to have not just a great game but an epic one. As a shooter it has all you need, but lacks in all other departments. Story is disjointed and short. Peter Dinklage mailed it in as the ghost and the new guy doesn't do much better. The game tried to forced players to explore all modes of the game even if they didn't want to, just so they could get the good gear. And there was always the grind, pointless hours spent farming for materials, or in search of one enemy that took hours to bring down because you keep running out of ammo. Things just become repetitive and boring. But the worst injustice is that with every expansion they promise to fix everything, and we gamers take it hook line and sinker. I spend about $100 to play up to TTK which is $40 (again I didn't buy it). I jumped on the other day to find I was locked out of most of the content, levels PvP and PvE, difficulties, EXP (couldn't increase my level), weapons, armor, and many other things that I had paid money for. Be warned that this game has its moments but fails to deliver on the hype.
