- Manipulate human minds is cool, or taking their brains
- The saucer is a mass weapon of destruction
- Crypto is a really interesting alien

Negative

- It's easier to drag military forces
- Combat is too straightforward

Destroy all Humans! was different than I expected. It's also a little disappointing. But apart from that, this game is one of the few that lets you be an alien called Crypto. Crypto is a grey alien, like the Furon, his race. He is with Pox, a scientist is assume, and they are going to invade the earth.

Along the game, Pox will research weapons. These weapons are mostly normal weapons which are powered or can carry more ammo. The weapons are cool. You can zapp people and then you can extract their brains. The more people you kill and brains you collect, the more DNA you will have. Instead of using money to buy weapons, you use DNA. Normal people are easy to kill, but cops are a little tough. It's easy to get killed, since man dressed in black can shoot you and empty your health. But good thing that health recovers quickly. It's more of a shield. After a little time, the shield goes full if you're not attacks. But you'll attract enemies easily. There are 4 marks at the top of the screen, and when they are all lite, that means trouble. There 4 marks are easy to go up but really tough to go down. You can hide or you can become human. You can hipno humans by making them asleep or make them dance. But when you're in the saucer, military tanks will shoot at you and they use smart bombs. You can easily be hit and you can land only in one or two places in each area. In other words, gameplay doesn't really rock. You can also kill cows in this game. At first you will land in a farm and there are lots of cows.

Graphics are good. No frame rate problems. Voice acting is great and both Pox and Crypto sound great. Even humans sound good. The campaign isn't very long but it's not linear. You can go back to places you have been before. Side missions are straightforward and shallow. The missions always ask you for destroying places or to collect DNA. The award is normally DNA.

When I first looks at this game I though I found a superb game, but I was wrong. Destroy all Humans! was a little of a disappointment to me. Gameplay is straightforward and a simply mission might take you 20 minutes to compete. Mostly when you need to take over a human mind and military forces attacking you might require running and hiding. It's tough to kill them, especially when they are armed well. IF you're looking for something like different and unique Destroy all Humans! is a worthy addition, but if you like something bloody and aliens that truly kill humans, this game might be enough as a rental.
