Ever thought of transforming in a dragon? To spread your wings and ascend to the heavens, as you set the whole world beneath you on fire.

In "Divinity II: Ego Draconis" it's finally possible.
The game brings you to Rivellon, a beatiful world which lives (after several years of war) in peace. You find yourself as a Dragonhunter in education, preparing yourself for your last test. This "last test" makes you able to define your characters class and to test the controls. After finishing the test, you'll arrive at your really first operating area. As you move further and further to accomplish your mission, you finally find yourself face to face with your worst enemy, a female dragonknight...injured and weakened. This would be an ideal chance to strike, but wayward as fate is, the dragonknight has something else up for you...and it's not her blade...

Playing "Divinity II: Ego Draconis" is a very good game...but unfortunately you got to moan somewhere too.

Graphics: 9/10
Divinity II offers stunning graphics and an unbelievable level of detail, altough hair and facemeshes aren't that good.

Leveldesign: 8/10
There are plenty words to describe a beautiful leveldesign. Let's just say that Divinity II has a lovely environment. The only ugly thing is the instanced world, which hasn't natural ambits.

Sound: 4/10
There's not much to say about the music, because there is nothing special on it...but it fits mostly the situation and is not nerving. Voices aren't top...I can't stand the sound when my female character dies, because it sounds so overdone...

Gameplay: 8/10
To transform in a dragon is a cool feature which brings a lot of fun...rest is pretty average...there aren't that much skills...
Additional it's a pretty difficult game sometimes...sometimes it made me want to bawl, because I died of something like a single archer who has overpowered crit-chance which damage equals like 3/4 of my health...

Other aspects:
+jokes and wisecracks are very often (and even funny)
+You don't need to craft or brew yourself...your attendants do it for you.
+There are many dialogue-options
+Quests are varied and don't get boring

-There is no Quicksave-function
-There are just a few autosaves.
-A bit unbalanced

All in one, you can say:

"Divinity II: Ego Draconis" is a overaveraged game! Give it a try, you surely won't regret it.
