Could be a gem if AI , Document and Balancing is fixed. If you haven't bought it yet wait a month. Patch 1.07 is better.

Elemental can be a fun 4x game unfortunately the AI and Game Balancing needs a lot of work. Longtime 4x players might have fun but for new 4x players the Documentation is inadequate.

I've been a Player since Beta 1 , a lot has improved but Beta 4 testers were not given enough time before game release. I know Brad will make good on his work and Fix the game. My suggestion is to wait a month, check the Forums and then decide whether you want to buy the game.

Anyone who's already bought the game will get the First expansion pack for free.

The current Game release is Version 1.07 which is the 3rd patch since game release, a lot of minor annoyances have been fixed but the AI has not been improved, AI improvements are scheduled for the next patch release.

I think the AI will require a few passes until it works properly and expect at least a month until the game shows drastic improvement.
