The game is much better than Far Cry 3. In my opinion it's better because the map is huger, the activities are much more diverse and the wildlife is superbly rendered. The plot resembles Far Cry 3: bring down a dictator, this one called Pagan Min. You have to liberate bell towers and, having dope this, you unlock new activities and places. The graphics is awesome. You can craft, upgrade your equipment and also, you can improve your stats. The gunfights are great and fun. You can fortresses. You should consider stealth; yet, you can go gun-blazing, but prepare to die a lot. You can hunt; you can perform different tasks for Golden Path. You skin animals and upgrade wallet, quivers and so on. You can craft syringes if you pick up different plants.
Overall, it's a great game.
