Pros:
- Missions are mostly relevant
- Very well designed world. Feels like a real place
- Less chaos between missions than previous installments
- Smooth gameplay/mechanics
- Tons of content
- Strongholds are unique and have purpose
- Satisfying pop of guns and kills
Cons:
- Can’t pause cutscenes
- Endless waves of enemies
- Missions get repetitive
- One area (⅓ of the game) goes hard woke
- Majority of characters are unlikable
- Taking down helicopters is really obnoxious
- Helicopters appear in majority of missions
- Can be taken down with rocket launcher or backpack, but takes forever with a sniper or normal weapons, even on easy
- Granted, this is more realistic, but it made me dread every time a helicopter showed up
Nitpickey:
- Few good clothing options. Gear is more for utility than aesthetic
- Follows the far cry formula to a T--which isn’t a bad thing--it just brought nothing new to the table. And far cry 5 had better characters and story
- I could do without the dumb stuff (animal followers, joke missions, dumb outfits, etc.). Fortunately, for the most part I literally CAN do without it
