That's right. While you won't get to soak in the Las Vegas ambience that D.I.C.E. attendees enjoy every year, here at GameSpot, you can sit in on panels and presentations alongside the video game industry elite. Among the presentations being streamed live are those from the visionaries behind such games as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Batman: Arkham City, and Twisted Metal. When you tune in on Thursday, February 9, you can even get one of the best seats in the house for the 15th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards.

The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) was founded in 1996; its mission is to promote, advance, and recognize outstanding achievements in the video game industry.

And how is this done? The Academy conducts its annual awards show, the Interactive Achievement Awards, to promote and acknowledge exceptional accomplishments in the field through a peer-based selection process. To further this vision, the organization created the D.I.C.E. (Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain) Summit in 2002, a once yearly conference dedicated to exploring approaches to the creative process and artistic expression as they uniquely apply to the development of interactive entertainment.

With more than 22,000 members, the Academy celebrates and honors the creativity of video games worldwide. More information can be found at www.interactive.org and www.dicesummit.org. Follow the AIAS on Facebook and Twitter.
