Final Fantasy: Four Heroes of Light, not impressive at all.

I've recently played the latest addition to the Final Fantasy game on the Nintendo DS. I must say that I wasn't impressed at all. I can't say the game was all bad, there are some good perks to it, like the whole gem system to upgrade classes, armor weapon, etc...Also when you got knocked out (basically all members of the party were down) you did lose a considerably amount of gems which get pretty hard to get, it does get frustrating to lose those rare gems that you've been working so had to get. Although all of your party members are down, if you're like me and forget to save a lot then this is a pretty cool feature. Instead of being "Game Over" like the other games when your party gets wiped out you lose some gems which are used to upgrading equipment and such, but you revive at your last save point without losing all the effort you put into leveling up you characters. The game play itself was not the greatest experience for me, I found that they should have kept the old turn-based strategy instead of using these points to attack. I did like the story how ever but it didn't keep me wanting to play more it was basically just play along and go, to me it was not very interesting. Although I am a big fan of the Final Fantasy series, I would not recommend this one.
