I have many fond memories of playing FF7 on computer back in 1998 with my best friend. We spent hours at my apartment play this game. Ever since that time, this has been my fondest memories of video gaming. After I played FF7 I fell in love with the Final Fantasy game line. When the port of the PC version of FF7 came out on Steam for windows, i bought a copy of it. i got a chance to play a short bit of it, but due to computer problems had to re-install windows and never got around to playing it again. Now however, FF7 has now been re-release on the PS4. I am now in heaven. in the middle of a battle i discovered that if you click the left joystick button down, you can speed up the game by 3X speed, thus making character grinding a LOT quicker. for those of you who have played the original - you know what i mean. the process that use to take HOURS in the old days, now can be done in way less time. One thing i forgot, is just how long the intro part of the game is, and all the dialog. I remember that once i got past Midgar things seem to speed up a lot. I am so glad that they re-released the original FF7 before the remake. this way i can have the best of both worlds. Squaresoft is definitely doing the right thing in releasing their old games on to the newer consoles. Now new generations can experience the blocky, pixelated computer glory of my generation. one added benefit with this re-release, is that they have pre-added all the game patches that you use to have to download manually for the game. also, the are the cheat enhancements. now if PSN could just sell a electronic copy of the game walk through that would be awesome! i can't wait to go through the game again!
