Well I have to say of the many Final Fantasy games I have played sadly this one does not stack up as well as the classic FF7 or the new hit FFX. Like any FF the battle system is well thought out with good intentions on creating a new inovative battle system. But I belive that it falls short with the magic and making it more like iteams then anything. This combined with the junction system made me never use magic in order to boost my stats. While the health boost was nice I could never use high power spells like ultima and instead had to rely on phyisical fighting and summons. So while every thing else about this game leads it to be a classic the battle system draws away from the experience.
