A game forever

Hello my friends, I was thinking to myself about things I would take to a deserted island, a band record, a person, etc... Until the thought came to me, "If I could only choose one game, which one would I choose for a desert island?" After much reflection, I came to the conclusion that I would take Super Mario World, for everything it represents and for being a long and fun game, and obvious, bring that beautiful and sweet childhood nostalgic feeling.

And you my friend? If you could choose just one game to take to a deserted island and play for the rest of your life, which game would you choose?

It's a tough question because I really like a lot of games and genres depending on my mood. So sadly I cannot answer this hypothetical.

Played too many I consider top tier, sunk time into, and enjoyed immensely, finding few complaints with. Have my favorites to be sure, but it's still close to one hundred games.

Stalker: Anomaly. It’s the game that keeps on giving. I recently picked it up again because I had an hour or so to kill. F***, I said to myself as I realized I was going to be addicted and dedicate another hundred hours to it.

But if mods don’t count, then I say Morrowind. It has a similar effect on me,

Super Mario World is among my most favorite 2D Platformers though, and is an amazing game.

Nethack.

A rogue-like with permadeath and a game with nigh impossible odds.

Skate 3, or Gears of War 3 (I still love playing the horde mode solo).

I think I would choose NBA jam T.E. simply because it would stimulate my brain when playing the game and I wouldn’t get bored on that deserted island.

F-Zero GX. Maybe if I was stuck on an island playing only that game, I would finally get good enough to unlock the AX cup.

Mine would be Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot for the reason In terms of recreating the story of the anime and just open world. It really just makes me happy overall.
