I've only seen a couple. I saw one with Clint Eastwood where he paints the town red or something. It was okay. I've paid a little attention to the movies my grandpa watches, they mostly seemed boring.

Yes. One of my favourite genres. The Searchers, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, The Wild Bunch, The Naked Spur, Red River, My Darling Clementine, etc. etc.

All of the old ones are almost unwatchable because of the terrible voice syncing.

I am a fan of a few westerns featuring clint eastwood. Django Unchained blew me away though. It was everything someone could want. Although, there seemed to be an odd transition from American West to American South. I would have preffered that the film keep the western feel it had in the first half. Overall though, it was still a 10/10 movie from my eyes.

Lol, if you're going to put 'The Good, the bad and the ugly' at least put other westerns that can stand up to it :P.

Not big on them. I highly enjoy the recent ones like 3:10 to yuma(etc), but it seems that my grandmother watches them religiously every time I visit her. That more or less accelerated my distaste towards them. Honestly, nonstop old school westerns 24/7 with that woman. If I have to hear "ROLLIN', ROLLIN', ROLLIN'" one more time, I'm going to go nuts... That said, I do enjoy a couple of Clint's westerns & a couple with John wayne; although, I shamefully don't know the titles of his, aside from true grit *great movie*/remake pretty decent.

Not really. I generally find them kind of boring. Only western I've seen in a while that I liked was Django Unchained, which is weird because I don't really like Tarentino movies. To bad tastes that taste great together?

I definitely enjoy a few The Dollars Trilogy is good, and of course Pale Rider. Also True Grit is good, though I haven't seen the original. Although a lot of westerns though I find to be slow moving unwatchable pieces of sh!t, including several staring Clint Eastwood.

I like westerns, but I haven't seen very many of them. Not that I have anything against them or anything. It's just that they don't make that many new ones, and the old ones are just mostly things that I've never gotten around to watching.

Yes I do. If it's got a desert, I'll probably like it. Though Shane doesn't have a desert and I love Shane.

I use to like the Young Gun movies when I was little and then I re-watched them when I got older and realised how terrible they are. I should really get around to watching old westerns though since from what I've seen I like them, I just can't name any from the top of my head. Also does Back to the Future III count as a western?
