Today it got to 109 F (42 C) where I live in the North Bay Area of California. New record. Tomorrow it will be 102 F they say.

Currently about 80 F at 8:30 PM! Normally it'd be in the 50's at this point...

Cooling off with a big 1 L stein filled with crushed ice, pineapple Jarritos (really good Mexican soda), and a little tequila.

How about you folks?

36 C in the southern interior of BC, had some hot spells this summer, but so much better than last year when it seemed like half the bloody province was bound to burn down, with one town reaching almost 50 C.

Today was nice, it was low 20s. Yesterday and day before were 35ish. Brutal, way too hot.

@certifieddata yeah man, I have friends and family that own property in BC and they showed me pics of the fires. It was like hell on earth.

+16 Celcius yesterday. What is funny is that the moment Summer ended, from >+30 Celcius it started raining constantly and temperatures dropped to +10-20 Celcius. Just like that.

35-36 today, which is not too bad as it was over 40 a week or two ago.

Cooler. Not T-shirt weather anymore. Had a nice run this summer but it's time to accept autumn's on the way again.

Must be nice to live in a place with proper seasons.

Here we go from sunshine and cool to sunshine and blazing hot, with a few weeks of rain here and there.

Fall lasts maybe a month lol.

Around 30 C.

Really, though, I'm more concerned about the rain than the heat right now. So far I'm lucky, but the last time it rained this heavily, I had to go live in a hotel for a month. The downstairs of my house still bears the mark where the water came up.

High of 93f w/ a heat index making it feel like 101f (33c-38c). Plenty of rain, though.

Ooof, problem with two hot days in a row is your house doesn't cool down as much during the evening. Two nights ago it was cool enough that the house stayed relatively cool during the day. Last night, not so much.

Not having AC really sucks.

Was 110F in San Jose. Highest recorded temperature. They actually took my power out at 4pm during peak heat hour for 6 hours.

I went to the library and the AC was off. Honestly should have knocked on some rich dude's house because I know they have power on 24/7.
