Hi. I have 12900K stock

32 GB 2x16 GB DDR4 3600mhz

Palit Gamerock Pro OC rtx 4090

1300W Seasonic Platinum Prime

Aorus Elite DDR4 Z690

Windows 11 2H22. newest drivers. but on previous the same

I have an question about FAr Cry 6.Its on 1440P.

Most of the time when i am launching game i have lower gpu usage and lower fps. Until i launch game second time. For example first time i have 55% usage and 100fps. Then i quit game launch second time and its ok usage 70% and 120fps. Is this game issue or my system? I must just launch game 2 times to get better fps. Thanks.

@sew333: You have to come to realization that all Ubisoft games are not coded to perfection. Your going to get random crashes, to weird performance issues. Most of all your posts worrying about your PC not acting correctly has been virtually all from Ubisoft based titles. You just need to ignore all random occurrences until you start seeing the issues on other non Ubi games.

But to answer your question, its most likely an issue with prefetching or possibly shader compilation related. Even when you quit and relaunch a game windows basically keeps previous open program data in standby "caches" knowing where everything is at and predict what needs to be done quicker.
