company of heroes on max settings?

hi folks, i just built a new pc and thought it would run this game with all setting set to high, sadly i was mistakin

setup

amd 5200 2.6 dualcore , x2gigabyte geforce 7800, amd m2n sli deluxe mobo, 2 gig ddr2 corsair ram 6400, seagate hdrive, 7200rpm,, 32 inch hdtv 1360 x 768 vista home premium

anyone any ideas why i cant run at max

you should check and make sure you have all the new updates for your MB and GPU and see if that fixes it.

somethigns up with that pc then  i can max it at 1024x768 wiht no stuttering.

I think it's your single 7800 that's holding you back.  COH is a system hog, and is very demanding if you want to run it at high settings.  7800's aren't high end anymore.  I could be wrong though.

Exactly! When I had my two 7900GTs with my E6300 I still only got like 20 fps on high settings.

I have a x1900xtx overclocked and at 1280x1024 it runs smooth, 20-30fps, but can get choppy at times.

Wow some of you gus have better pcs than mine, yet i am getting better performance? I have E6400, 7900 GS OC, and 2Gig DDR2 Ram, and i am playing at max settings except no AA at 1440 X 900 (widescreen) and the performance test shows 42FPS

Well I have all the settings maxed out, which is why I'm not getting as many frames as you.

i ran it maxed out with my old 7600gt with the rest of my pc the same, i didnt see a huge increase when i got my 8800

hmm

Put on Full AA and you will not get higher than 20 fps.
