company of heroes on max settings?

hi folks, i just built a new pc and thought it would run this game with all setting set to high, sadly i was mistakin

setup

amd 5200 2.6 dualcore , x2gigabyte geforce 7800, amd m2n sli deluxe mobo, 2 gig ddr2 corsair ram 6400, seagate hdrive, 7200rpm,, 32 inch hdtv 1360 x 768 vista home premium

anyone any ideas why i cant run at max

I think it's your single 7800 that's holding you back. COH is a system hog, and is very demanding if you want to run it at high settings. 7800's aren't high end anymore.raynimrod

i ran it maxed out with my old 7600gt with the rest of my pc the same, i didnt see a huge increase when i got my 8800ankor77

Wow some of you gus have better pcs than mine, yet i am getting better performance?

I have E6400, 7900 GS OC, and 2Gig DDR2 Ram, and i am playing at max settings except no AA at 1440 X 900 (widescreen) and the performance test shows 42FPS
