directX11 won't work!

so I recently bought a pc game and the game wouldn't launch due to not having directX11 so I downloaded it but still doesn't work, I have a windows 7 computer, Could that be connected to it? What do I do?

Windows 7 has full support for DX11, but not for DX12. Are you sure the game is not asking for DX12? Also, which game is it?

Does your gpu support direct x 11?
