My old iiyama Prolite E2607WS is finally kaput & i need a new monitor asap.. I'm pretty clueless to be quite honest and have taken a break from the shop. I'm looking for something around 2560 x 1440 res, low response time, not really bothered about any built-in speakers (but if they are any good!) & any extra bells and whistles incl.. problem is I've no more than around £300 to spend and would be extremely grateful for any advice here at all.. thanks for listening!

There are a lot of factors...

What is your budget?

Are you looking for high refresh rate (120hz or higher)?

Are you looking for G-Sync or FreeSync?

HDR or SDR?

Panel type preference (TN, IPS, VA)?

Screen size (27" or 32")?

Just bought a Viewsonic Elite XG270QC, one hell of a good monitor at the price I paid. Have a 6900XT Master arriving next week, looking forward to using both.

Overclockers have it at £379, you will not find a better one at the price. You can haggle with them concerning their B-Grade stuff.

Ask in forums customer service for a discount, they are pretty good.

I can recommend the Asus PA278QV. Great image quality (apart from a bit darker left side on my unit) and 75Hz with VRR and Gsync support (don't need a 3080 to run games at 120/144fps).
