I was wondering if a the Radeon x1600 (256MB) would run battlefield 2/2142 with a good FPS?

Yes, It will. But for it to run smoothly you should list the rest of you computers specs.

Yes, unless you turn up all the graphics settings and play it on a 30'+ screen :D

well, im actually buying a new latop, here are the specs

AMD Turion 64 X2, a dual-core 64-bit chip running at 2GHz,
2GB RAM
256MB ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 graphics processor
