I don't know what they're thinking for themselves but I don't see anyone in my country paying double price to play it on PC
What's the price in your country?
£54.99
Greenmangaming - pre order price - £42.89
I hate to say it but G2A is selling global pre order for 48$ which can be activated in my country - it's either getting the key via shady sites like those on launch, waiting for a Steam sale or raising that flag in you know what I mean.
There's no way someone will pay double the price, I'd rather buy a PS4 and get the game for fair price over there.
EDIT: Actually there is a way, I see it's being sold on Epic for 60$ - problem solved

£54.99, yeah great conversion Epic. GMG it is then if I want it.
€59,99, so no thanks. I'll wait for a sale or a good deal on G2A or a similar site. There's still a lot of old games that I sort of plan on playing, but I just don't know when. I need 3 corona lockdowns to finish them all.
Both on Steam & EGS are selling Death Stranding for $59.99 in the U.S it seems and meanwhile over at CDKey, they have it for $48 and that'll save you 12 bucks if you head over to CDKey and buy it from there.
Edit: HZD is also on CDKey for $45 and that'll save you $5.
They've made an article about this bs on one of the tech sites
You can see the price difference between my country to others.
Same thing went back with Command & Conquered Remastered where it's been sold on Steam for much higher price than on Origin 20 Euros vs Steam 32 Euros.
That's one hell of a strange currency conversion going on Steam because that's ain't TAX VAT multiplier that's doing it.
