So, Noctua is making GPU coolers now. Asus released RTX 3070 with 2 standard 12cm fans, something I've been hoping to see for a long time. And it finally happened. At the worst possible time. :(((

That Noctua RTX 3070 looks okay to me🤷‍♂️ Nothing sexy nor ugly, just an okay GPU. I get the esthetic looks of a GPU to the beholder's eye, but at this point in time when GPU are scarce, I'll take whatever I can get my hands on any GPU RTX 3070.

Man, I don't care about how it looks like, I got a closed case with sound damping, and the idea of standard 12cm fans makes a lot of sense, I don't know why it's not the norm. Plus, this has the very best fans, and I'm sure the heatsink is top of the line, too. It's actually available in my country, but I'm not paying $1450 for it, forget it.

Yeah, I am the same (closed case with sound damping). So, I don't care how it looks. I already have existing Noctua fans in my case anyway. So, it would actually blend in.

Do you think the boss at Noctua were like "Guys, we are going to make the absolute best product we possibly can. And then we are going to make it ugly as sin to the point people will want to hide it from the world, and that's OK because I am the boss and I am antagonistic as shit! **** people! I want their money but **** 'em!"

Those fans are quiet.

I got two of them running on one computer at 1700-1800 rpm and for that rpm level they are by far the most quiet fans I've come across.

And on a GPU I think it makes sense.

They got a colour signature. I really wish they made those NF-A fans in 140mm versions too.

What's so ugly about it? The color? Looks like a regular ass graphics card to me. I actually like the color, makes it look retro in a cool way.

That said, I really don't care how my PC components look. Got a closed case.

Never thought I'd see a vid card that looks like leather boots.

It really depends on the user, my previous PC had 7 Noctua case fans installed, no RGB or LEDs - pure performance build.

You can do a complete setup now with this GPU as well.

Asus been using Noctua fans for their water cooling kits AIO for some time now, so the most logical thing is to do a GPU together as well.

I noticed that (nvidia) FE cards have a very minimalist design and are very pretty, but then I look at the 3rd party GPUs and they are very busy and quite ugly in my opinion. Why can't they be less ugly?
