What is MS thinking not supporting CPU's that are not even remotely old yet? That means MOST people won't be able to upgrade. So dumb. I think windows should just support as many CPU's as possible, no matter how old.

Company I work for only just upgraded to windows 7 a couple of years ago. Not exactly sure what market they're aiming for with windows 11.

We still got XP running on a few PCs.. Not internet connected though, and we are in the process of replacing them, just met some hiccups on the road.
So I am guessing my 3900X by AMD is too old for Win11?
Not sure if I believe this.
I don't know for sure if it is, I heard about the program that MS used to tell you if your PC could run Win11 was a broken mess that didn't actually do anything, so this may not be true.
