What was the name of the game?

Sometime in the 2000s there was this one medieval game about a poor boy in a village. Where you played the boy and walked around in the village performing quests. And there was this big old windmill where you needed to finish the quests in the village to get to. The game had two CDs part 1 and part2, but weren't able to run if you didn't use them both at the same time. I also remember that the on the Cd this boy stod in the middle and beside him there was 2 villagers. Do anyone remember what the name of this game was?

There was this game I used to play where you start out, i think, on a ship, and you find this sword chained to a wall and take it and the sword talks to you during the game. I think it was for PS1, but it could be nes-ps1. It was a rpg. ive been trying to figure out/remember the name forever, if anyone could help that would be amazing
