Which NES Games Are A Must Play?

These are the games coming with the new NES remake coming out. My first console was the SNES. I had Super Mario All-stars but haven't played most of these games. Which ones do you guys think are "must plays". These games are the selling point and I am curious what you guys think.

I'm sure I've left off more than a few, but here are the ones that come to mind. I played a LOT of NES back in the day and the majority of these IMO have tested time quite well. Try to keep in mind that video games were hard back then. If absolute relentlessness isn't your thing, you may not like all of these.

I know it's a short list, but really I could fill an entire screen from this topic. These are just some of my favorites.

Silver Surfer

@vespuche: Super Mario Bros 1 and 3, MegaMan 2, Zelda 1, Excitebike, Galaga, TecmoBowl (during football season), PunchOut, Double Dragon, Castlevania, Metroid, Kid Icuras and Ninja Gaiden....the rest are just filler to Coolyfett. Nintendo should have got Pole Position 2 as a racer. Excitebike will have to file that role.

It seems many didn't read the original topic. He wants to know what are the must plays of the 30 games on the NES Classic Edition console. Not must plays of the entire list of games. Many or all of the games you guys are listing are not on the NES Classic Edition.

I really think all of them worth playing. Some especially standout titles for me though are Castlevania, Gradius, Kirby's Adventure, Metroid, Mega Man 2, Super C, both Zeldas.

And I think the original versions of SMB 1-3 are still worth checking even though OP played All-Stars.

I think all of these are great games from the NES mini, but my two favorites are Super C (Contra 2) and Bubble Bobble.
