Angry Joe realizes gaming is actually a shallow low hanging fruit hobby (correctly) treating his audience like toddlers watching a children's show.

Ever since Alex was added to AJ, he makes it alot better whenever he's on and Alex shares my personality in ways, he's just more mature then Joe is. Anyway, Angry Joe's reaction to the Remake is the same reaction I've seen from a LOT of new players to Final Fantasy games. They really enjoyed FF7 Remake and while the ending is pretty crazy, they are willing to go along with it.

Remember when Joe went to the Video Game Awards on a mission to dismantle Dorito Pope's console shill bias.

And then when he was asked a question like "name pc games", he bloweded up.

He should let "other Joe" take over.

Both are shit, the only difference is that the "reviewers" on Gamespot/IGN etc paid for their "Gaming journalism" degrees, what hacks.

I don't listen to either, I have 30yrs+ gaming experience and yet you don't see me pretending like i'm an expert making YouTube videos like the hacks on YouTube.

Well, if you hate all reviews everywhere, you probably should've said that instead. It sounded like you were implying reviews on YouTube specifically are the worst.

I enjoyed this review of the game more at a 1/4 of the length of Angry Joe.

I really don’t make a big deal out of reviews one way or the other. Of course I know how to make my own decisions on which games I buy but it’s not like I get zero information from them either. Plus I just like to hear other people’s opinion on games as well. I mean if you truly didn’t care about other people’s opinions on games and gaming then why even bother visiting places like forums and such or even discussing them with anyone in general.

This joker has turned into a sony shill. I think he’s actually paid by them to a degree. He rates every sony exclusive quite high - even games reviewed lower by other critics.

see i only go by reviews to see what im about to get. what to expect from it. if i want the game i still get it unless it gets a 3 and under then i don't.

days gone is one of them. i could see there is some bugs and a guy looking at his wifes butt like we all don't do that but it offended the reviewer some how lol.

so yes i notice some bugs but the review didn't say it was fun. it's fun as hell and that is what matters the most.

i also miss the old magazines review systems

were it had a funfactor, performance, etc.

because back then if the funfactor was the most important part of the review.

A lot of people. I don't get it. It's obvious that he puts a lot of time and effort into them, but I just find the reviews to be waaay too long and not even remotely funny.

Pure entertainment ... i like his views on games and i enjoy hearing him talking about them ... nothing else, nothing more.

His opinion never determines if i would buy a game or not.

And yes, his childish sense of humour makes him annoying (main reason i never watch his streams) and his sketches are so dumb and repetitive (they pretty much just dress as the female protagonist and act silly) but like i said, i enjoy his analysis and thoughts on gaming.

Lol ... that would seem, but not really. I do enjoy his analysis and the sketches are 3 or 4minutes out of an entire 20+ minute review, besides even i can admit he can be legit funny every once in a while.

It's understandable that you don't enjoy this kind of videos ... for example i like watching video games and movies reviews ... but i can't stand reviews for music ... i just don't enjoy people talking about music.

I agree. I enjoy watching Joe and his videos from time to time. I like his analysis on gaming as a whole as well as listening to Alex and his thoughts on games. I'm definitely not a fan of the sketches though nor do I find him funny but I can see why he does it.

I also like watching ACG for his reviews on games. He does a good job of breaking down the game and I can get an idea of how the game plays and if ultimately it seems like something I'll enjoy or possibly just wait for a sale.

What @i_p_daily may find weird in watching people on YouTube review games; I'm sure he does things that we may find weird. Just how people are and how everyone has different tastes to different types of things.

That guy really does seem more intelligent and articulate than Joe. But he kinda just sits their awkwardly getting 2 words in while Joe shouts at him and completely over-rights whatever opinion he has haha

George actually has a degree in Journalism, and has actually done a bunch of journalistic styled videos so his credentials are pretty rock solid. That and while he can be a total idiot, he actually properly describes a gameplay loop (be it Resident Evil 2's damage system, the MGS3 vertical slice segment of his MGS3 vid, or the cup of spaghetti take on Dark Souls level design), which is a dramatic upgrade over the standard course of game development.

That's not pretentious, that's actually being descriptive for people who aren't monkeys.

While we're at it. You linked your blog in a thread, and it had some pic of gamespots greatest games ever and a most overrated games ever. I couldn't help but notice what the first 3 games were, was that also a Champ dig? lol
