I live in England. I have been looking for a wii for weeks but had no luck. I have tried local game stores, super markets, online stores.. pretty much everywhere but cant find one.

The only place I know that has Wii in stock sell them at GBP235 (around USD 480). I want a wii badly to play SMG, but I really cant affort the price tag. So i am thinking about importing one from the states.

So what is it like in US? Are Wiis difficult to find as well?

I think they're all third party sellers, amazon is sold out.

If you really want to get one, get on a pre-order list somewhere. Even if a store gets 20 in one day, they will all be gone by the time the store closes that evening.

They're still lining up in the US. Did you say you looked in Super Markets?

Does that = Grocery store?!?!

Jandurin

Super Markets are a bit different in Europe...

It is still tough to find them. It will only get tougher as the holiday season gets closer. You'll probably have to either bite the bullet, buy online, or pre-purchase and get on a list. I bought mine online as a bundle and it was pretty much the only way to pick it up for me and have the knowledge that it will be coming. When I ordered it. It was on backorder and I still had to wait about a month for delivery.

In short, good luck dude! You might have to bite the bullet a bit. That's the way the free market works.

If it's tough to get one now, wait till christmas. In Finland it is actually possible to just walk to a supermarket and grab one. Without hassle. While drunk. Like I did 6 months ago.

Import one. It'll be cheaper and you can get games sooner.

You'll be suprised.

Back in 2000 Tesco and ASDA (UK Supermarkets) got PS2's to sell without pre-orders. The same happened with the Wii and 360.
