I got the game on the ps4, which upgrades on the ps5 for free for $12 like in 2022. Massive waste of $12. The most copy paste sequel i have ever purchased.

As a big difference from all the other subscription services you actually get to keep everything, which for a collector like myself is a big reason I find it worth my moolah.

Already played the bejeezus out of it on PS4 then some more on PS5.

It doesn't run that well on Steam deck from what I've read otherwise I'd be more excited about it... then again, maybe it's for the best. Don't wanna end up raging and throwing the Deck out the window.

I tried to like it but it's totally ruined by loot. Loot makes any game terrible if you're not a degenerate gambling addict. I literally have a math degree and find all the various stat buffs and debuffs and numbers confusing.

Got it for 12 bucks a few days ago on a cdkey website, been playing it a bunch. I like it, well worth the 12 bucks.

If Returnal is around that price, I'll get it immediately. It's never been under 40 on Steam.

@Naylord: Yeah, found it confusing too, so I didn't give a shit about it. It's not mandatory at all to care about the stats to get through the game or having fun. Just put on what does more damage or gets you more armor, sell or dismantle the rest, and you're good. With the skill trees, just pick what looks cool or sounds nifty.

It does indeed ruin the game, and i have been saying this since 2017. Delusional fanboys think it adds depth lmao.

I recently purchased it for $12 from a CD key website and have been thoroughly enjoying it ever since. It's definitely worth the investment.

If Returnal drops to a similar price point, I'll certainly be inclined to purchase it right away. Thus far, it hasn't dipped below $40 on Steam.

No, it definitely doesn't ruin the game. It's just a bit mundane to sell or dismantle shit. I too wish it didn't throw a million items in your face, but the game is still good. Not picking up any white items helps..

nononono, its shit. these drops make so little sense in a game like this that its like playing a fromsoft game with mtx. i don't want to see it. the worst of it all is that gamers AND reviewers were critical of these shit drops since Nioh 1, and instead of removing this garbage, they add this waste of space feature in all their game. **** team ninja.

Citizen Sleeper is the best game in that bundle.

@hardwenzen: I see where you come from, I just don't share this hatred. Just find it mundane and I'd greatly prefer if there wasn't loot everywhere, but I'm not gonna let it ruin the good for me. ARPGS like Diablo 1&2, Titan Quest etc. are fun. Borderlands was mildly amusing for a while. Monster Hunter is awesome. Not to talk about your precious BG3.

@Litchie: Don't sleep on Last Epoch, just released and already a brilliant ARPG/Diablo 2-like.

I saw the Grim Reaper class in there and it just looks fantastic.

Diablo IV had the dullest and most pointless unlock system I've ever seen. But hey, Suicide squad managed to outdo it the other day with their battle pass.

A lot of AAA suffer from wide as an ocean, but deep as a puddle: the game look pretty but there is nothing to do.

Returnal being on April Humble Choice was false.

Loot in Nioh isn't that important until like the 2 or 3 difficulties in. Just equip the highest numbers that don't make you slow....

And somebody who put a stupid amount of time into Diablo 4 is not allowed to complain about Nioh's loot.

Returnal was a fantastic game despite me hating roguelikes. I don't do save scums so I never actually beat the game.

I keep dying in biome 5, and whenever I do I can't be bothered to go for another run lol. the presentation, visuals and sound quality are absolutely superb though. Best audio design in the game space perhaps.

Nioh 1-2 are pretty medicore. Typical Soulslike, they sort of fill your appetite inbetween true FromSoft games but they are just no where near the level of From Software. terrible bosses, terrible level design. Decent combat mechanics but not as good as Sekiro or anything post Bloodborne.

I will give Team Ninja props for making co-op 100x more seamless than From Soft, but that really isn't saying much.

I never really had any problem with the loot system. Its sort of like mixing Diablo into a Souls game and that isn't a deal breaker for me. I think its important to differentiate your souls likes from the actual Soulsborne games as much as possible.

Oh well, I still think this months bundle is rather nice and it has a couple of games from my wishlist.

Strategy and sim is a genre that I still need to get back into, but Fashion Police Squad is right up my alley!

Funnily enough, my very first Souls like was Demon's Souls... Not the PS3 original in 2009, but the PS5 remake in 2020.

Pretty much been my favourite genre since.
