GTA games definately have the best music. Hell, GTA vice city stories had such a small cost to maeke compared to the rest of the games but its sound track is my favourite of them all. can aany one say Genesis-turn it on again?

GTA LCS had the worst songs imo except the K JaH radio station. If you like raggae and dance hall, id say gta lcs's k jah beat any other gta game's raggae songs.

Just my two cents, what do yall got to say about my statements?

I hate rap and hip hop so the GTA V soundtrack did not appeal to me at all and it was more or less the same deal with GTA IV.

GTA IV did have a soundtrack that added more songs and changed the talk stations after you progressed far enough through the story, which was very cool.

Vice City had a fantastic soundtrack.

I think VCS had a fantastic soundtrack but San Andreas just took the cup for me. It was everything gaming should be.

Vice City was another masterpiece if you love 80's music and the Scarface lifestyle.

Since the 80s was by far the best decade for music, Vice City's sound track is amazing. I've been very disappointed with the recent GTA soundtracks; they had too much rap.

I hate most rap and the "metal" station in GTAV was complete shit.

Vice City for the win.

A bit off topic but why isn't GTA2 on PSN yet?

I never cared for GTA radio stations/music.

I never found the music any good and there isnt enough variety. The spanish radio stations are always crappy and random, which is really disappointing.

I always turn the stations off.

The only decent song that GTA 5 had was this little surprise nugget:

@R3FURBISHED: Yeah mate you do know the entire score to GTAV was wrote and performed by Tangerine Dream yeah? Couldn't be any further from hip hop :).

But if you are talking about the radio then just change it. A lot variety exists in that game.

I highly recommend soulwax fm. (also another great artist)

I agree with VCS. But I think the original Vice City soundtrack was even better, as it was more unique at the time.

Also GTA III and LCS had MSX FM which was absolutely wonderful: great d&b by an even better DJ. I think it was Timecode who hosted it. Anyway, the selection was amazing. Of course if you're not into D&B I can understand not liking the channel either :P

I think it's a shame there was no D&B channel in the newest GTAs.

I also give praise to all the chat shows, because for all the great music that could be found in the games, I was still drawn to all the rediculous stuff being told on there XD

I loathe techno/house music. GTA V radio was only talk radio or the classic rock station which largely sucked as well.

Rockstar's music selection in general. They can be pretty lame from a pure game design standpoint at times, but they usually have a great ear for music.

@R3FURBISHED: Talk or classic rock? no they had a radio station to suit every genre. from folk to electro to Jazz hell even to swing!

Unless you are a total music nazi... there is somthing there for you

I am of course choosing to accept that you have a geniune gripe with the game, and not just being a tit (which i'm inclinded to believe given you ignorance)
