Titanfall 2 back on GamePass!! :D

So, a few days ago I just happen to stumble upon TF2 back on GP and hadn't heard anything about it. Great surprise because I've been wanting to go through the SP campaign again.

But what's really shocked me as I'm playing through is that it feels like I've never played this campaign before. ;o

I swear I did but this playthrough, I seem to only recall a few areas and the rest feels brand new.

Anyone else played TF2 recently on GP and is it just me or has something, many things been added?

Perhaps a bunch of DLC included this time? Dunno.

Anyway, thoughts SW and mods, you can lock at any time as I know this really isn't SW worthy, but I just needed to ask mah fellow warriors. lol

I replayed Titanfall 2 a few months ago on PC, that game is still good to this day, it aged well enough to be part of this gen's standard if you ask me.

If you have Game Pass, go check that game out everyone. Awesome SP is what made Titanfall 2 special.

Titanfall 2 was one of the best SP FPS of last decade. amazing game. very underrated.

I got it on PS+ as a monthly game in 2019 but it was nice to have it permanently in my collection on Steam Deck

I bought it at launch and played the hell out of it, both single player and multiplayer. Loved it, excellent game. Would certainly recommend it to anyone.

Surprised it was ever off of it, I'd imagine that's something EA would keep on their EA Play catalog. Regardless, the game is on sale dirt cheap all the time, it's $3.99 right now on Xbox Store and PlayStation Store. Like, get it if you haven't, one of the best FPS games of the last decade.

Great game! Great singleplayer, they should call the game "A Boy and his Pet Robot".

Excellent multiplayer as well with just really amazing elements, from the guns and kit combinations, the parkour, and the robots. The balance is what really impressed me, too, because here you have these amazing robots but if you a.) don't know how to use them well or b.) you're a really talented infrantry player, the robot vs human is pretty evenly matched. It really rewards skill/punishes lack of skill, without being unfair. The way a game should be.

What EA did to the release though...oof, can't forgive that. Sandwiched right in the middle of (iirc) Battlefield 1 and Call of Duty releases. Like those games were maybe two or three months apart and I think Titanfall 2 got released right in the middle.

People still want to play it, too. I remember reading they saw a MASSIVE influx of players a year or two ago when they had a free weekend or made the game available for free or something like that.

@mrbojangles25: It was worse. All three games came out within a week of each other. The fact there is a person somewhere who approved that release schedule, and was compensated for their efforts with some kind of currency, is offensive to me.

I too paid $5 for TitanFall 2 on my XSX a few years back. Loved the MP the best.

I played the SP for a while and quit because I found it boring. Pretty much like all MP games with a tacked on SP mode ever.

I don't know why everyone talks about the SP. It's not that good. But the MP is in the top 10 of MP games for me. It just needed more maps.

Was it removed from the EA Play vault before? It should have been on GP this whole time due to it being in the EA Play vault.

Yeah it's either gross incompetence or intentional sabotage. I don't see how it could be anything else.

Really? That's a shame. Had some really great level design, excellent story, and great gameplay. Didn't feel tacked on at all imo.

Yeah, TF2 campaign was not tacked on at all. It was well designed and executed. One of the best FPS campaigns.

I bought the game at a dollar store for $2 brand new a few years ago, but never even opened the case because its for the Xbone🤭

@Litchie: Its primarily SP game. I beat it like 4 times before.
