Reason #1: Shooting and Cover system sucks.
Clunky shooting and cover system, my god that was just horrible. :(
Reason #2: Cops are very predictable in this game.
First off, in car chases they ALWAYS try to trap you by crashing into each other in front of you and when in a building they always send the S.W.A.T that are just meat sheilds and are easy to gun down they run in like mindless idiots, they don't throw grenades or anything to make it difficult to escape.
Helicopters, easy to get rid of let's put it to that; In the end only out at sea is where the police are difficult because of the lack to swim underwater. Which brings me to....
Reason #3: Way to much content is taken out.
No more swimming underwater, bummer it would have looked amazing in HD! :cry:
Boxing, and Karate cool things like those and changing they way you could fight, no more of that. :(
Where are my bikes?! That's strictly the way I would try to get to places in GTA: SA :x
This is a huge issue, no more jets/planes, come on Rockst*r this is a big thing in GTA, and you take it out?! :evil:
We can't change the physical look of Nico, we can't lift weights, go for a swim, or run and ride a bike to have him look bigger and more fit, eating 20 hotdogs and drinking soda all the time won't have him gain any fat, what the hell Rockst*r :|
GTA 4 is missing couch co-op like in San Andreas, sure the camera got annoying but it was fun playing with a friend and messing around for a few hours. :P
Reason #4: The City is boring.
After you complete the game, there's pretty much nothing to do. There's no cool mall like in GTA: Vice City, nothing to spend all that $$$ on no houses or anything to buy. With the stupid cell phone and having to drive friends around just to get things from them, for example Dwayne, if I kept him alive, before I can have him call buddies to come out and help me I have to take him to go bowling multiple times?! After all I've done.... :|
Reason #5: Missions are horrible
At the beggining of San Andreas your thrown out into a dangerous area and you have to quickly find your area and start the first mission before you get killed :shock: Now that's a start; Also on the first mission your chased down by people with guns and cars and all you have is a bike with no weapons and have to quickly escape.
THAT WAS AWESOME! :)
At the beggining of GTA 4, you just drive Roman around to his apartment, that's what you do for like the first 5 missions just driving and meeting people, and the driving lasts forever this is dull, because the story to Grand theft Auto 4 is a snooze. The new Mafia 2 game, I never played it, but there was complaints on long driving nothing to do with your money etc, GTA 4 has the same problem.
Yeah, well... I like Grand Theft Auto to be fun. :|
In the end Grand Theft Auto 4 should have been 7.5/10 on average, we have complaints on God Of War 3 not being as good as the other 2 because it didn't improve other than graphics, they same should be critizied on GTA4. The RAGE engine that Rockstar used for this game is awesome, but only for games like Red Dead Redemption it makes sense for it to be as real as possible back in the western times that's why RDR is a really good game and yea if anything it's miles ahead over GTA 4, due to actually improving from Revolver and adding more content and fixing issues and complaints from Revolver, making it the best Wild West Cowboy game out there. :P
Hopefully Agent will be what Grand Theft Auto 4 should have been.
