Oh, and Mewtwo and Parasect/Paras sound the same. Old Gameboy games were programmed in regular C programming and the MIDI soundfiles supported a limited number of tracks. The game cartridges and system itself had a very limited amount of storage memory and RAM, so soundfiles/individual midi tracks were recycled with modified pitch in order to save space. That's why the first gen has so many cries that sound recycled (however, if you did a waveform analysis, you'd see minor differences). This programming is also why Gen I & II have similar "styles" of Pokemon cries.

There are 15 abilities only available through the Dream World, 3 of which are exclusive to a single evolution line each. Poison Boost for Zangoose, Imposter for Ditto, and Flare Boost for Drifloon/Drifblim.

pokemonblackftw

Actually, that's only a theory since Kangaskhan's baby looks like a cubone without a skull. GAME FREAK or nintendo hasn't confirmed whether or not the Cubone/Marowak family is related to Kangaskhan.

Also, it wouldn't make sense when you breed Marowak or Kangaskhan.

...

...

Kangaskhan doesn't make sense at all. It hatches with a baby.

Breeding doesn't make sense since you can put a Skitty and a Wailord in the daycare and you will be given an egg.

Pokemon doesn't make sense. O.o

Red(meaning you) killed Blue's raticate. every time you face gary he always has a ratata/raticate on him. but after your battle on the SS anne the next time you find him is on lavender town which btw is the town specifically made to be a pokemon graveyard and his raticate is nowhere to be found ..

cubone-> marowak ->Khangaskhan... however since the story of a pokemon dying and wearing the skull of the deceased mother(kanghaskhan) is somewhat too grotesque for nintendo standards they swept the concept under the programming rug and pokemon 000 was born ... aka MissingNo. proof of this is when you level up missingno. it turns into a kangaskhan

and a bit more from the top of my head ... Ash's japanese name is satoshi and gary's japanese name is shigeru which are the names of the pokemon creator and mario creator respectively (satoshi tajiri, anyone in these forums know who shigeru miyamoto is ) ash is sort of in satoshi and Gary sounds liek shigeru(the geru part at least)

also pikachu's speech is consistent enough that he makes certain speech patterns that are recognizable e.g. Pi-ka-pi = Satoshi or Ash, and most of his attacks he makes the same sound for hence its probably the name for it in his language aka Pikachunese ...

also has noone wondered why they show steak and other meat products in the anime yet they never mention where they come from? like an episode where ash was looking for a hamburger... what pokemon is this burger made from then?

^ there's an episode where ash almost freaks out because he thinks oak cooked his crabby for dinner. so yes, they kill pokemon for food just like we kill animals for food. which sounds kinda brutal once you realize pokemon are super-powered, weird shaped humans with limited speech and no sense of dignity or self preservation.

In the origional (Red/Blue) games you could get mew without having to attend anykind of special event. All you had to do was get to the 2nd gym's town. In this town after the bridge there is a trainer who has a slowpoke avoid him, continue on till you get HM Fly, also avoid the trainer that is in front of the underground pass that connects from the area just left of lavender town and the area where the 4th gym is. Once you have FLY go to the enterance of the underground pass to lavender town and step forward, immediatly press start so you do not iniate the battle with the guy standing there, then fly to the 2nd gym's town. Go and beat the trainer with the slowpoke, then fly to lavender town. Once in lavender town walk to the enterance for the area to the left of town, your menu will pop open while walking here press B to close it then, mew will be encountered. There you have it.

Here is a link to a video showing it.

During the first season of Pokemon where Ash sees a mysterious pokemon flying overhead. This pokemon was actually HoHo from the second gen, when the general public had no idea that another pokemon game was in production.

I remember this. They showed little hints of HO-HO and Lugia in the following season as well.
