Bog standard RPG with little to do with Game of Thrones

Game of Thrones is a role-playing game brought out on the back of the tv series. It's built on the Unreal 3 engine so as you can imagine the graphics are pretty good but starting to look old now in comparison to titles like Mass Effect, or The Witcher.

Other than the name and the in-game music you would be forgiven for forgetting this game has anything to do with Game of Thrones at all as it brings hardly anything from the tv series or the books. That said it is a fairly good game which feels like a cross between Dragon Age and Assassin's Creed.

Sound is pretty good and combat is satisfying, but there are quite a few annoying bugs that need to be patched. Anyway it is still worth purchasing. There's nothing outstanding about the game to make it a must buy title, so you might want to check the bargain bin when you have nothing else to play.
