Thanks in large part to the success of Symphony of the Night, Konami went back into its library, rediscovered the X68000 version of Castlevania, and decided that it would be a perfect opportunity to introduce the game to a much larger audience. Now, the original, as well as a slightly improved version of Castlevania for the X68000, is available for the PlayStation.

There have been a lot of great games released for the PlayStation over the years. But in Chrono Cross, Square delivered one of the best RPGs ever made - for any system. The game received GameSpot VG's Game of the Year 2000, and has be re-released as a part of the PlayStation's "Greatest Hits" series.

Dragon Quest VII is a decent game with an interesting and original story. Be warned, however. With so many of the new storytelling implements that have come with technology missing from Dragon Quest VII, it'll most likely be difficult for some to play.

 Final Fantasy Chronicles

Final Fantasy Chronicles proves that Square hasn't forgotten its roots. Like 1999's Final Fantasy Anthology, which saw the release of Final Fantasies V and VI, Chronicles is a repackaging of two of Square's greatest triumphs from the golden 16-bit era--here, Final Fantasy IV and Chrono Trigger make their return.
