The Silver Moon

All the earthly crystals are in hand, but one remains: the silver moon stone, held by the Silvite elders within the great silver shrine, high above the world. Even the mighty Delphinus can't ascend into the heavens unaided, so a new search begins for the only vehicle that can make the daunting journey.

Tactical Espionage Action

Items in this area: Sacrum crystal x2, 4,000 gold, moonberry, imperial blade, ship schematics

When you return to Crescent Island, Gilder will inform your crew of a new Valuan base on Dangral Island in mid-ocean. Worried that the armada may be trying to recover Fina's spaceborne ship to reach the silver shrine and steal the silver moon crystal, the party decides to raid Dangral Island to intercept the armada's plans.

Dangral Island itself is fairly easy to find - it's beneath the clouds southwest of Sailors Island. You can see Shrine Island and the large waterfall in the distance from Dangral, so use them as reference points.

Once you make your landing at Dangral, take the ladder down into the island's air system. Peek through the ducts on the floor to see the control room and treasures being stored in the various rooms of the base. There's a massive fan to your right that must be deactivated before you can move through it. Continue down the passage and round the corner to a branched path. Straight ahead, you can listen to guards discuss the schematics De Loco has devised for deep sky diving; to the left is the power center for the base. Cut the power and return to the large fan, which can now be passed.

The ladder beyond the fan leads to a large open passage, where you'll encounter a lurgel tank, a wimpier version of the dreaded dralkor tank. The large door to your left is barred and cannot be opened, while the door across from your entry point contains a series of rooms with a number of treasure, including a great new sword for Enrique. The final door here leads to the depths of the base, where you'll find the Chameleon docked as well as De Loco's schematics on the table.

As you backtrack to the entrance, you will be stopped by Galcian, who intends to stop you once and for all. Gregorio sacrifices his life to delay Galcian, so escape while you can and return to Crescent Isle.

Bullet the Deep Sky

Items in this area: Fina's ship, velorium x2

After ten days, Brabham will have adapted De Loco's modifications to the Delphinus, letting you proceed to the deep sky to recover Fina's crashed vessel. The only safe entrance to the depths is through the vortex, a funnel of clouds beneath mid-ocean, near Shrine Island.

Descend into the Vortex and continue to lower your altitude through the storms and violence without. The Delphinus has been equipped with moonestone sonar, which will ping off objects buried beneath the silt of the ocean floor. The sonar map appears as an 8x8 square grid on your screen; sending out a sonar ping will reveal possible objects within a 3x3 grid.

The sonar has limited charges, but careful exploration will be rewarded with rare and useful items.
Whenever you emit a sonar ping with the B button, a 3x3 grid will be examined, and if something is within that grid, those nine squares will be labeled with a question mark. By moving around and emitting more sonar waves, you will clear up the question marks until you can pinpoint the location of the buried item. Once you're satisfied with your exploration, you can send a claw into the muck to retrieve whatever lies beneath. Be warned, though, that if you misjudge and send the claw into an empty grid square, you'll be forced into aerial combat with a beast called Raja.

You're limited to ten pings at a time, so if you run out, leave the deep sky area to recharge. Leaving the deep sky will erase all tentative data on your sonar grid, however.

For quick reference, there are three objects of note in the deep Sky. Locations here are listed from the top left of the map, so the upper left corner is the first column, first row.

· Velorium: second column, fourth row
· Velorium: eighth column, fourth row
· Fina's ship: fifth column, seventh row

The velorium is definitely worth grabbing; once you've upgraded Ryu-Kan's forge, he will use the velorium to craft the best blade in the game for Vyse.

When you grab Fina's ship, De Loco will enter the fray and try to destroy the Delphinus for good.
