Chapter V: The Armor

As with any other Final Fantasy game, FFIX has boatloads of armor choices. Unlike in many Final Fantasy games, however, you will tend to get the best stuff for free by stealing it. Whenever you encounter a new boss, it is important that you always see what you can steal before continuing on. The following will give you a general listing of each piece of armor, as well as some important info on each piece.

Arm Gear

In the beginning of the game you will find yourself switching what arm gear your characters have on quite often. After you get half way through the third disk, however, you will encounter new arm gear less often and you will end up stabilizing.
