Chapter VI: The Bestiary

Now that you are packed with information on your characters, how they fight, what they fight with, and how they defend themselves, you will want to take some time to study what you will be fighting. Not all monsters in Final Fantasy IX are your standard aggressive enemies. Some are rather easy, while others are quite difficult and are therefore classified as bosses. In addition there are even enemies that are beneficial, if even friendly to you depending upon how you act in the beginning of the battle. Whenever you run across a new enemy, you can use this list to get a general idea of what you will be going up against.
