guitar hero 5 < guitar hero metallica

It is the second attempt to make a guitar hero game based off of a band (the first being aerosmith which did poorly.) Did this game prove that a band related game can do good? YES!
As soon as you turn on the game you will get a very well done intro which suits Metallica very well, going on into the menu's metal fans will enjoy the artwork style used.
The songs selection is fatastic! they're are only 2 songs i dislike. (Compared to Gh 5 which i only like 3 or 4 out of the 82 songs) one issue is there is no Ride the Lightning or ...And Justice for All which is a letdown. They're are just over 40+ songs in the game which some may see as to little but actually the songs take a long time before they get boring. They're other great metal bands in the game including Slayer, Machine head, Mastodon, Mercyful fate and much more.
They're solid extra's in the game, which include "live songs video's, fanshine video, putting the game together, album art/lyrics, back stage photos and more.
The difficulty can be brutal at times but that is to be expected, the animations the band members do in game is great and gets you into that metal vibe. Graphics are similar to WT but that is fine because personally GH 5 "better" graphics look ugly and irritate your eyes.
this game is highly recommended to metallica/metal fans or someone looking for a challenge, ENJOY! (btw why did gamespot give this a 7.5 when it is atleast deserves a 8.5)
