Maybe the best and most revolutionary FPS of all time.

User Rating: 10 | Half-Life PC
Story:
You take the role of Gordon Freeman a scientist who works in the Black Mesa Research Facility. He is called to test a dangerous experiment, but it failed, and summons hundreds of alien through all the facility and its closer neighbor facility, the Lambda Research Facility.
The story about aliens invading Earth, may be oldest than the time, but this is different, the aliens don't have advanced tecnology or super inteligence, even some aliens can be considered extraterrestrial wild animals, altough some aliens do have inteligence and tecnology but not highly advanced.

My Score:10

Graphics:
We're in 2011 so you may think that the graphics of this game suck, but go back into 1998 and you would be amazed for sure, these graphics were the best you could find.

My Score 10

Sound:
Pretty realistic gunshots, silences that makes you tense, good voice acting, nice alien sounds, I can't complain.

My Score 10

Gameplay:
This was the first FPS with full camera control, nothing so amazing today, but it was revolutionary in its time, besides of this the gameplay is simple but efective.
You have life points and armor points that you can recharge by finding first aid kits and small armor rechargers or you can find healing and armor recharge stations.
You also have a wide variety of weapons, that goes from a crowbar to a controlled rocket launcher, and even small living aliens.
The combat is the perfect example of action combat, you also have amazing sniper occasions, fight against huge aliens, extreme tense battles against very agile ninja spies, and awsome boss fights.
There are no videos trhough all the game, instead you look at all important things that would go into a video through the eyes of Gordon.

My Score: 10
