Ok, so movie games aren't really the best. But I would say that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1, was one of the better ones. Let's start with the good points. Some people may disagree with me but I really loved the Kinect feature. It was something that I think they needed to do, so that you have the full experience of Harry Potter. But I would have liked to have seen more spells with it. It was a great Kinect experience because it was like you were the characters. This is because each individual spells having their own unique arm movements. Also, allowing up to two people in the Kinect feature is a bonus. The combat system in the controlled mode was ok. It needed possibly a bit more added to it. I think it would have been a good idea to combine spells and even upgrade them individually, but the fighting overall isn't terrible. I think that the cover system might have needed a bit more work on it but it was a great idea to include in a Harry Potter fighting game.

The graphics for a movie game are not terrible, but could have been better. But, the voice acting really wasn't great at all. It just sounds fake. But the worst thing about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 is that some missions are just tedious. Most of them are enjoyable, but a few are just generally boring. And the boring ones consist of using the invisibility cloak. Literally, all you have to do is just sneak by people, and some of them go on for ages.

Overall, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1, is one of the better movie games mostly due to the Kinect, however, the combat is enjoyable as well. I would recommend this to people who enjoy fantasy action games.
